Easter and Camping

Went away with my brother and his family and my Mum camping for Easter. Was lovely to spend so much time with them all. I know my three kids really enjoyed all that time with their little cousins too. The weather was really kind to us too considering it was Easter! We had a few showers, cool nights and hot days, all in all good weather! So, here are is a selection of my favourites from the weekend, including an evening moon shot, which was done without  a tripod so forgive the camera shake! The final two are the moon setting on the last morning, and on the other side the sun coming up through the trees. I get why photographers get up early for the glorious light at this time of morning, but I am so not an early morning person!!

Easter with the Family

So, had a family gathering yesterday for Easter, early as most of us are doing other things on the actual Easter weekend. Went to Bellbird Grove which is nestled in the D'Aguilar national park not far from Walkabout Creek. Pretty place with the best part (as far as the kids were concerned!) being a creek to explore! So here are some photos from the afternoon. The last couple are me playing around with some techniques that I have seen people doing, I like the effect, but can't look at it too long as it makes me start to feel motion sick! Happy Easter!

Nieces Blessing Ceremony

So, last weekend was my niece's blessing ceremony. It was a lovely family affair and as usual Jenny put on a lovely spread. Here are a few photos from the event.

Jenny had a chocolate fountain, which I think was the hit of the day, and as you can see from the photo, Jasmine knew that chocolate had to be an all over body experience!
